Painter and sculptor, Moa Bennani, like his contemporaries of the Casablanca School, is fascinated by primitive supports: jute canvas, wood, and leather, to which he tries to breathe a soul twisting and transfiguring them to give them a new life.
His painting, based on the deflagrations of matter, is mainly dominated by lyrical abstraction.
Representing Morocco at the Venice Biennale in 2005, Moa Bennani's work is widely exhibited both in Morocco and abroad.
