It is the artist Melehi’s opinion that to give a title to a work can distance the viewer from the principle subject, and from the observation that must be given to the work, its message, and its symbolism.
On the contrary, by giving free reign to the imagination and sensitivity of the viewer, we play with similarities to see, perceive, and feel different emotions. This is so when we see a cloud-filled sky. Freely, instantaneously, we discover compositions, images, memories and feelings.
Here, the artist’s intention is to encourage the imagination as a source and grid of artistic creation.
