The paintings of Mohamed Melehi never cease to evolve, from one exhibition to another; dominant in his recent works is the desire to build connection with time, time spent with a canvas and beyond it. He seeks to establish spontaneous relationships, defined by lively interaction, as he seeks relationships of interference, of simultaneousness between works.

And thus, transforms the relationship between Mohamed Melehi and his painting, with its constitution, as he previously focused upon his space, with serenity and repose, without measure of time. With his recent works, Mohamed Melehi’s state of mind has shifted: more mindful of what is happening around him, on the lookout to what is present.
