For 1-54 London 2023, Loft Art Gallery presents the work of four artists who invite us into their own utopian imaginings. Walid Ardhaoui (Tunisia), Joana Choumali (Ivory Coast), Amina Rezki (Morocco), and Houda Terjuman (Switzerland/Syria/Morocco) share figurative dreams steeped in vivid colour and spiritual longing. From Choumali’s shimmering interpretations of Abidjan to Ardhaoui’s memories of childhood, from Terjuman’s solitary spaces to Rezki’s intimate portraits, these works reveal surreal and deeply personal inner landscapes.
